At eight, Song Wan was adopted by the Gu family.
The eldest son, Gu Tingchen, looked at her coldly. “You’ll never take my sister’s place.”
She lived cautiously until she was twenty, then finally decided to leave.
On a stormy night at the airport, Gu Tingchen chased after her like a madman.
His eyes red, he gripped her wrist. “Wanwan, I’ve gotten used to having you around.”
Later, a yellowed medical record slipped out of her drawer:
“Spinocerebellar degeneration, two years to live.”
And Gu Tingchen knelt in the snow on a winter night, finally learning how to love someone.
I shed tears after reading this. This is a sad and heart-warming story. Recommended
