Synopsis

"Jingyue Complete Book" is the culmination of the warming and tonic school of Ming Dynasty, which demonstrates Zhang Jiebin's profound theoretical foundation and rich clinical experience. In response to the abuse of cold and cool medicine in contemporary medicine, he vigorously advocated the theory of "when Yang is not in excess, Yin is often insufficient", emphasizing the importance of warming and nourishing Yang Qi and filling up true Yin. The book is rich in content, covering TCM theory, diagnosis, materia medica, prescriptions, and clinical subjects. Its original "eight arrays" (tonifying, harmonious, attacking, dispersing, cold, hot, solid, and yin) prescription classification method is unique. The famous prescriptions in the book, such as Zuogui Pills and Yougui Pills, are still used today.
