When Sang Zhining woke up after being knocked unconscious, the first thing she said was, “Who are you?”

She'd only meant to tease him and see how he would react, but then

Her scumbag boyfriend, Xu Yang, was overjoyed. Putting an arm around Sang Zhining's younger sister, he said, “I'm your sister's boyfriend.”

Desperate to get rid of her for good, Xu Yang begged his aloof, distinguished older brother, Xu Yanchu: “Bro, can you pretend to be her boyfriend? Just for three months! Don't touch her, just keep up appearances. I'll get back together with her once I've had my fun.”

The man who had once humiliated me in public, saying I wasn't good enough for the Xu family, replied, “Fine.”

Xu Yanchu agreed. No one knew he'd been waiting three years for this moment.

But Sang Zhining heard every word. She couldn't believe the boyfriend she'd been with for three years could be so vile. She made up her mind: if that's what he wanted, she'd give it to him.

Under the guise of being her boyfriend, Xu Yanchu had her move into his home.

He warmed milk for her late at night and gently patted her back when she woke from nightmares.

And when Xu Yang strutted around with her younger sister, he pulled Sang Zhining into his arms to stake his claim.

She decided to play along: if he was going to cheat on me, then I'd cheat on him too!

She'd always thought Xu Yanchu hated her, but from that day on, he was constantly flirting with her.

He pinned her to the bed. “I'm your boyfriend. What's wrong with kissing you?”

He kissed her all over, doting on her and loving her.

“Actually, I was only pretending to have amnesia. You don't have to keep acting. I know you hate me.”

“I know you're pretending. I fell in love with you the first time I saw you, three years ago.”
