You Made Me Battalion Commander, So Why Am I Driving a T-26 Tank?

On the eve of the Battle of Shanghai, Liang Tiancheng transmigrates into the role of commander of a tank battalion in an armored brigade. Under his command are a dozen or so Vickers tanks, the only mechanized force in all of China worth speaking of. An order from above demands that the tanks be dismantled and distributed among the infantry to serve as fixed pillboxes. Liang Tiancheng slams the table. "Not one of my tanks gets dismantled! Just then, a voice rings out in his mind: "Ding! Binding complete." From then on, Liang Tiancheng leads this steel force through the blood-soaked streets of Shanghai, crushing everything in its path. Infantry-tank coordination, armored flanking maneuvers, deep thrusts: every battle is a textbook example. He knows nothing of retreat. He only knows to drive the tanks forward and blast the enemy to hell. When the smoke clears, someone opens that year's battle report. It contains just one line: "Liang Tiancheng's unit: designation unknown, equipment unknown, numbers keep growing the harder they fight. Extremely dangerous."
