I Save My Love-Struck Mom with Desserts

Top pastry chef Tang Guoguo wakes up one day as an adorable five-year-old and is bound to the Scumbag-Proof, Sweetness-Protecting System. Her mission: stop her mother, a hopeless romantic so thoroughly manipulated by a toxic man, from getting involved with him, and help her escape and start a new life! In public, she’s a well-behaved little girl who sweetly calls him “Uncle.” In private, armed with a buttercream spatula, she’s a “scumbag-fighting crusader” who knows how to put all kinds of troublemakers in their place. The scumbag gives her mother cheap fake flowers? Guoguo makes fondant roses in return, sweet enough to dazzle everyone. “Uncle, do your flowers taste sweet?” The scumbag mocks her mother’s low salary? Guoguo livestreams herself making desserts, and the adorable little chef goes viral online, earning more than he has in ten years! Just as her mother is about to wake up, the desperate scumbag proposes? Guoguo pulls out a specially made bitter melon and cilantro proposal cake. “Uncle, why don’t you have a taste of love’s bitterness first?” Just when she thinks victory is within reach, Lu Tingxiao, her mother’s handsome, wealthy former boss, who has been quietly watching over them all along, corners her against the wall, his gaze dangerous. “Little one, your macarons are delicious. But who are you, really?”
