The Court Tyrant Who Emerged from the Psychiatric Hospital

Lu Xiu was once a prodigy, but his pathological obsession with the landing point and angle of every pass, which made him fly into a rage at imperfect passes, got him diagnosed as a paranoid psychotic. He was forced to spend three years in a psychiatric hospital. After his release, the label of “mentally ill” made it hard for him to get anywhere, until he unexpectedly awakened a “Moment of Epiphany” golden finger. Whenever he enters a state of total focus on the pitch, he can trigger an epiphany, analyze the trajectory of the ball through physics, and even recreate the signature moves of legendary players.

Starting with tryouts in the lower divisions at home, he uses passes and shots that defy the laws of physics to deliver face-slapping after face-slapping to his doubters. Proud and even a little neurotic, he is dubbed “The Tyrant” by the media. Yet he not only conquers Europe's top clubs, but also leads his struggling national team to the World Cup. This is the story of a madman whose artful football drives the whole world wild.
