Treasure Appraisal: My Eyes Reveal the Attributes of Everything

The protagonist, Shen Yu, was a treasure hunter at the bottom of the antiques world. His poor eye for value left him cheated out of his entire fortune. In his despair, he awakened the “System of Appraising All Things.” It could distinguish an object’s authenticity and age by its glow, and even reveal its “historical memories” and “hidden attributes.”

Using his golden finger to find bargains in the antique market, he bought national treasures that had been left to gather dust for next to nothing, then made a show of face-slapping the master appraisers who had failed to recognize them. As his fame grew, he was drawn into the conflicts of an underground cultural relic trafficking syndicate and caught the attention of the national archaeological team.

Working with a beautiful archaeologist, Shen Yu traveled among ancient tomb sites across the country, overseas auction houses, and sunken ships in the depths of the sea. He recovered legendary relics such as the twelve zodiac animal heads and the Imperial Jade Seal, and used the “historical memories” revealed by the System to correct misreadings of history. In the end, he founded the world’s largest private museum, drawing envoys from every nation to pay tribute.
