From the Start, I Give Sun Wukong an AK-47

I’m a PhD in physics, transmigrated into the body of a pilgrim on his journey to the West.

Under Five Finger Mountain, I handed Brother Monkey an AK.

Heaven’s surveillance? Blocked.

The Western Paradise’s script? Torn to shreds on the spot.

I pointed at the gods filling the sky and said to Wukong:

“Great Sage, this time, let’s do things the scientific way.”

When the Golden Cudgel gets fitted with a railgun, and the Somersault Cloud becomes a warp drive,

we smash our way into the Palace of the Jade Emperor, and Tathagata asks, trembling:

“Good sir… what kind of divine power is this?”

I pull the trigger and smile faintly.

“Sir, times have changed.”
