Journey to the West: That Scoundrel! Nobody Can Beat Him!

After transmigrating into Journey to the West, Zhang Yan binds himself to the [Forced Fifty-Fifty System] and becomes the Three Realms' biggest menace. Sun Wukong is exhausted: a draw! Guanyin loses her cool: a draw! The Tathagata tries to pin him down with a flip of his palm: still a draw! And as he fights, Zhang Yan never stops running his mouth: “Cihang, be my bandit queen, and I'll let you pass?” Then the Buddhists play dirty and bring out the innate spiritual treasure [Purple Gold Bell]. The System suddenly springs back to life: “Ding! Enemy using an overpowered magic treasure detected. Balance mechanism activated... Reward: [Perfect Knockoff Replication]!” The next second, Zhang Yan pulls out an identical bell and hangs Lingji Bodhisattva and the Yellow Wind Monster from the rafters, leaving a note: “Air-dried meat. Help yourself.” Mount Lingshan erupts! Manjushri leads an all-out attack with the Demon Binding Rope and Dragon-Subduing Pillar. In the end, master and disciple are both hung upside down over a lake by their own magic treasures, becoming the amusement park's “aquatic attractions.” As Zhang Yan roasts beggar's chicken, he explains to the terrified Scorpion Demon: “See? That's what it means to beat you with your own rules.” At last, in Thunderclap Monastery in the Western Heaven, ten thousand Buddhas glare in fury as the Tathagata lays his cards on the table: “This is the will of Heaven. You are defying it!” Zhang Yan laughs. To the Buddhas' horror, his aura resonates with the Heavenly Dao. He points his sword at the sky. “Now I'm fifty-fifty with the Heavenly Dao, too.” Watching through his all-seeing light, the Buddha sees this rascal expanding his “Bodhisattva Detention Center” while plotting to recruit an Arhat as his cook. He lets out a wail that resounds through the Three Realms: “I'm done with this trial! Mount Lingshan is out! Whoever wants it can go instead!”
