I transmigrated into Water Margin as Shi En, the "Golden-Eyed Tiger," but this Shi En is not the one from the original story. Not only do I know the entire plot of Water Margin, I've also been bound to a [Ruthless Hero's Rise System]. My mission is to replace Song Jiang as the leader of Liangshan and build a truly powerful outlaw empire. The story begins when I realize that Song Jiang's plan to accept imperial amnesty will lead all the brothers into an abyss of ruin. So, before the heroes of Liangshan are ranked, I resolutely lead the brothers who side with me in openly breaking with Song Jiang, returning to Erlong Mountain to establish our own stronghold.
The System issues missions that overturn the original plot, such as "turning Liangshan's original Five Tiger Generals against Song Jiang" and "intercepting Song Jiang's amnesty envoy." Completing missions earns generous rewards, including modern knowledge and technology (improved basic gunpowder, blast furnace steelmaking blueprints, a basic military drill manual, distilling techniques for brewing liquor to raise funds, a simple disease-prevention guide, and more), special talent summoning cards (which can summon professionals from outside the Water Margin world, such as an unknown blacksmith, a physician, or a down-and-out scholar, all with knowledge or skills beyond their era), and personal or army enhancements (increased personal combat prowess, special forces training manuals such as the Trap Formation method).
Highlights:
A crushing advantage: Use modern management and technology to transform an ancient mountain stronghold by establishing a staff office, organizing production, and building a base.
Foreknowledge of history: Poach Song Jiang's followers with precision, rescue tragic figures from the original story ahead of time, such as Lin Chong and Hu Sanniang, and win their loyalty.
A revolutionary goal: Rather than accept amnesty, follow the principle of "store up grain, build high walls, and claim the throne late." Compete for supremacy with the Song, Liao, and Fang La, and reshape the world.
