“K,” once a gifted writer, gave up writing after being judged by the world. Taking the name Dongfang Yue, he poses as an ordinary high school student and wants nothing more than a peaceful school life. But fate pushes him into the school’s nearly defunct literary club, where he forms a writing team with two girls of very different personalities: the passionate Saotome Riri and the icy beauty Yukinoshita Shiori.
Dongfang Yue has extraordinary writing talent but must keep his identity hidden. Riri loves tragic fiction but pretends to like sweet romances. Shiori is obsessed with sugary love stories but acts like a fan of serious literature. The three wear masks around one another, constantly colliding in a maze of creativity and romance and stumbling into one hilarious love-triangle crisis after another.
As deadlines draw near, identities teeter on the brink of exposure, and tangled feelings reach their peak, will they be able to find the answers they seek?
