Silent Night Wolf: Spy Shadows in Laoshan

The Night Wolf Unit was a Chinese special operations team active around Laoshan from 1979 to 1984. Formed to crush Vietnamese spies, the unit was led by Commander Xiong Zhibing. They repeatedly uncovered enemy spies, carrying out their honorable mission to secure victory in the Battle of Laoshan even at the cost of their own lives. They also crossed the China-Vietnam border many times to gather intelligence, sometimes venturing deep into Vietnamese territory.

Beneath the smoke of war in the border jungles, a silent and brutal struggle between spies and counterspies was underway. Vietnamese spy networks lay in wait like venomous snakes, doing everything they could to steal intelligence from our forces. The Night Wolf Unit struck like hunters, defending the front lines through a series of thrilling operations, including capturing informants and prisoners and destroying enemy strongholds.

On the eve of the final assault, a deadly showdown over the fate of the battle and the meaning of loyalty erupted within the Wolf's Den. At the terrible cost of a leg and an eye, Xiong Zhibing ultimately thwarted the enemy's plot. His loyalty and blood forged a silent monument to the Night Wolves and cleared the way for our forces' victory across the entire Laoshan front.
