Warning: Genderbender romance. The pairing is with the senior female disciple, not the master. Megumi will take a new surname, the same as his master's.
The cover features the senior female disciple; the background is from Love and Deepspace.
Fushiguro Megumi has a secret.
When he was very young, his consciousness once entered another mysterious world. There, as a carefree little cat, he joined the Tianyan Bureau and became Daoist Shanying's last disciple.
But the world of cultivation was tumultuous, and a peaceful life was never meant to last. His senior sister failed in her attempt to mend the heavens and was reduced to ashes. At last, a wisp of her soul fell into his hands, and the truth of the world slowly unfolded before him.
"Go back to the world of the waking, Xiao Hui."
His master had said that before sacrificing himself to mend the heavens.
When he opened his eyes again, he saw a familiar yet unfamiliar ceiling, and heard his stepsister's worried voice. Everything that had happened in Yaozhou seemed like a dream.
But... was it really?
