Jiang Ci and her younger cousin Jiang Nuo both arrange blind dates and whirlwind marriages on the same day. Jiang Ci needs a compliant, easy-to-control son-in-law to secure her inheritance. Jiang Nuo wants an ordinary, gentle family man to escape her family’s constant pressure to marry. But a mix-up over a shared table at a café and a rush outside the civil affairs office lead them to grab each other’s household registration books and mistake each other’s blind dates for their own.
