Three hundred years ago, Earth was struck by a meteor shower. Humanity was powerless to resist and had no choice but to build a massive space station in lunar orbit, capable of accommodating 100,000 people. The meteor shower brought large quantities of resources and some unknown substances to Earth, making it impossible for humans to survive there.
But now, 300 years later, the space station’s resources are nearly depleted. Everyone’s supplies are strictly rationed, and the remaining stores will run out in less than three years.
So the station’s leaders are restarting the Earth survival mission to find out whether Earth is habitable now.
The expedition team consists of several hundred people and is known as the Hundred Children of Earth.
