Jiajing: I Just Want to Have Fun, How Did I Become an Emperor for the Ages?

After transmigrating as the Jiajing Emperor, Zhou Che plans to be a foolish ruler, concoct elixirs, slack off, and enjoy a carefree life.

Then he turns court sessions into “Mafia: The Great Ming Edition,” using the game's logic to expose Yan Song and his son's wolfish allies;

he uses a “relay station message-passing” game to improve the express courier system, doubling its efficiency;

and he holds “The Great Ming Voice” to recruit the Imperial Guards, only for a spy to top the charts by singing in an enemy country!

When he holds the first-ever Olympics in the imperial harem, Yan Song shakily hands in his resignation: “Your Majesty, this old servant... really can't keep playing.”

Years later, gazing at a maritime paradise visited by envoys from every nation, Zhou Che is at a loss: I really only wanted to play. How did this turn into an empire where the sun never sets?
