The Sword-Washing Record: Classic Edition

The classic edition of The Sword Washing Record tells the story of the male lead, a cold and stubborn swordsman who has returned from Japan. He is single-minded and loyal, and comes to the Central Plains bearing his master's dying wish: to find a legendary sword and investigate the past of their parents' generation. Though highly skilled in martial arts, he knows little about the ways of the martial world.

The heroine, Zhu Er, is lively and straightforward, loyal and steadfast, yet deeply devoted in love.
