Apocalypse: I Found a World-Ending Little Girl from the Start

Civilization collapses in a world war fought with nuclear weapons, ushering in a bloody and brutal wasteland era. Beneath the radiation clouds, mutated monsters roam freely. Nine out of ten people are dead, and the survivors struggle to stay alive within and beyond towering steel walls. Zero, a mercenary from a settlement of East Asian people, scrapes by against the monsters' claws and fangs with old-world firearms and an alchemical cleaver. Then, among the ruins, he finds a mysterious girl with amnesia. She is pure and beautiful, yet as weak and helpless as a blank sheet of paper. All she can do is tug at his clothes and call him “Big Brother.” Dragging her along, Zero struggles to survive amid the greed of bandits and the roars of monsters. He thinks he's picked up the biggest burden imaginable. Until the day the strongest apocalyptic beast king in the wilderness arrives, tearing the earth apart and crushing its powerful enemies. Yet at the girl's bewildered glance, it trembles, prostrates itself, and bows its head meekly. The girl tugs at his clothes, looks up with an innocent little face, and asks, swallowing nervously: “Big Brother, does it look... tasty?” Zero looks at the beast king capable of laying waste to heaven and earth, then at the little menace beside him, practically drooling. At last, he realizes that what he picked up wasn't deadweight. It was the most terrifying ultimate weapon in the entire apocalyptic wasteland! And somehow, he seems to have become its only... caretaker. Highlights: · Strong premise and striking contrast: “hardcore wasteland” meets “dimwitted little girl,” making for a compelling contrast and plenty of suspense. ·
