The Sui Dynasty's Little Chef-Doctor: Food Cures Ailments and Leaves the Emperor's Consort Drooling

Overworked office drone Liang Yuan transmigrates to the Sui Dynasty overnight, becoming a young imperial kitchen cook about to be beaten to death for his terrible cooking. His situation looks hopeless from the start, but luckily, the Medicinal Cuisine Encyclopedia System activates! Every time he heals a patient with delicious food, he earns top-grade ingredients and lost medicinal recipes.

“His Majesty has no appetite? Try a bowl of Appetite-Stirring, Spirit-Rousing Soup, and you’ll be full of vigor in no time!”

“Her Majesty the Empress is plagued by sleepless nights and restless dreams? Try some Osmanthus Cakes for Peaceful Sleep, and you’ll sleep soundly till dawn!”

“The princess is frail and sickly? A bowl of Qi-Nourishing, Beauty-Enhancing Porridge is better than a hundred-year-old ginseng!”

Liang Yuan only wanted to save his own skin and enjoy some good food along the way. Little did he know that his medicinal dishes would taste divine and work wonders! Those suffering from insomnia recovered, the frail grew strong, and even a concubine who had been unable to conceive gave birth to the emperor’s son! Before long, the despised young cook became head of the Great Sui imperial kitchen and the emperor’s personal “therapist.” Nobles from every corner clamored for his care, all hoping to taste just one bite of his medicinal cuisine. I only wanted to be a quiet, talented cook, but my culinary and medical skills are just too extraordinary! Watch him stir up the Sui Dynasty with one medicinal dish after another, heal the sick with food, win the hearts of beauties, and ultimately become a legendary “Culinary Medicine Sage”!
