Crimson Code, Mad Game

As blood mist devours the city and a green countdown ticks in everyone’s “field of vision,” a terrifying game with no rules suddenly begins. Lin Xia wakes in thick, sticky crimson fog. She hears nails scraping against glass, and sees tar-black eyeballs before her. The new scar on her wrist glows an eerie green, ticking in sync with the countdown to her death. Screams and sobs? They’re the most boring background noise in the game. To Lin Xia, this is nothing but a grand celebration. Rusty nails are her toys, twisted monsters her opponents, and beside rotting corpses, she smiles as she counts the last flickering numbers in their eyes. “Rules? What are those? Could they possibly be more fun than taking someone apart piece by piece?” When madness becomes the only rule of survival and the countdown reaches its end, will she be the ultimate winner of this game, or... its most insane sacrifice?
