The Ninth Thread of Red Dust

The Matchmaker’s lineage is on the verge of dying out.

I am Li Wuyou, its last disciple, holding the ninth and final strand of mortal fate. I was banished to the human world.

Here, love is managed by the God of Wealth, and marriage is a matter of set prices.

They laugh at me for protecting a stubborn stone and refusing to adapt.

Until I joined the hands of the first pair of cultivators destined to be partners:

Heaven sent down merit, all the laws of the universe resonated, and the statue of the God of Wealth trembled.

Only then did the Three Realms remember:

The Matchmaker governs the beginning of karma and the end of fate.
