Persimmons on the Wall

Persimmons on the Wall: One wall, one tree, two broken people, and a love that blooms among the rubble. When perfectionist engineer Fei Qiang meets Shishi, a building manager carrying the burden of a failed marriage, they become each other’s biggest headache on the front lines of handing over a new development. He thinks she nitpicks; she thinks he cuts corners. Then come the nights spent working side by side in the pouring rain. He sees the scars beneath her gentle, resilient exterior, and she discovers the responsibility and sincerity beneath his cold facade. In a jungle of steel and concrete, two frozen hearts quietly draw closer. But reality is a crueler battlefield: gossip, family opposition, interference from her ex-husband, and workplace sabotage... She is a “married woman,” and he has a “bright future.” Their relationship is thorny from the very start. Can they break through society’s walls and plant a hope of their own amid life’s ruins? When autumn comes and the persimmons on the wall turn red, will it be a sign that their hardships have finally given way to happiness? This is a love story between adults. It’s not about romance and moonlight, but about loyalty through life and death, and the devotion of fighting side by side. Watch them go from getting on each other’s nerves to becoming the irreplaceable wall in each other’s lives, and the sweetest fruit they could ever find. This is a work of fiction. Any resemblance is purely coincidental!
