The Vampire Beast Won't Leave, and She Says She Won't Stay for Free

[High Martial] + [comedy and plot twists] + [sound story logic]

He Yichen is a student in the High Martial Class at Jiangbei High School in the southern kingdom. His parents died in a mining accident in the Dark Forest a year ago. He sold off the family’s possessions and took odd jobs, barely managing to cover tuition for himself and Liu Qingqing, the adopted daughter his parents had taken in. A year later, He Yichen is bankrupt too. If he can’t pay his tuition in full, he’ll have to transfer to the regular academic class.

He Yichen can no longer keep up and decides to give up. As he sits alone on a bench in the school garden, preparing to leave, he hears a girl’s voice... It’s Xia Yiyun, the class beauty? Why would it be her?

Xia Yiyun gets him a seven-day extension.

He Yichen returns to his rented room. That night, thunder rumbles and lightning flashes. He hears someone knocking at the door. “Help me, help me!” He thinks it’s a demonic beast, but when he opens the door, he finds a big-eyed beauty in strangely distinctive clothes staring at him…
