Demon Monkey Prince: Shattering the Investiture of the Gods with My Staff from the Start

While the Great Sage Equal to Heaven, Sun Wukong, was being punished beneath Five Elements Mountain, his soul unexpectedly traveled back through time and transmigrated to Shang China during the Calamity of Investiture of the Gods. He took over the body of the hapless Crown Prince Yin Jiao, who was about to be executed by roasting.

At the time, Daji was wreaking havoc at court, his mother Queen Jiang had her eyes gouged out, and his younger brother Yin Hong's fate was unknown. The Chan and Jie Sects both saw him as a pawn, while the sages sat high above the heavens, indifferent to the suffering of mortals. Faced with this tragic fate, Wukong's unruly monkey nature erupted in full force.

He would no longer be the pilgrim waiting for Tang Sanzang. He would be the eldest prince of Shang, Yin Jiao, determined to defy fate! With the Great Sage Equal to Heaven's battle instincts, quick wits, and fragmentary memories of what lay ahead (not a system-given golden finger), he would take on treacherous concubines and ministers within the court, and fight the golden immortals of the Chan Sect without. He would unite every force he could and tear apart the hypocritical "Mandate of Heaven," dragging the lofty immortals down from their altars. He would make sure that no innocent, loyal soul's name appeared on the Investiture of the Gods. He would restore clarity to heaven and earth! This is a blazing epic of the Monkey King challenging the sages and a mortal defying the heavens.
