Hao's Money-Making Journey Through Time

Hong Kong triad boss Zhang Shihao was humiliated and forced to kneel at a Macau casino. Unable to swallow the insult, he called in his three trusted men, Ah Xun, Xiao Ma, and Yang Jiguang, and vowed to pull off a “big score” to make a comeback. As they drank and chatted, the four discussed legendary tycoons from the past, including He Shen and Shen Wansan. Then a strange bolt of lightning swept them into a vortex in time and space, and they transmigrated to the chaotic era between the Ming and Qing dynasties. Bringing the ruthlessness and cunning of a modern crime syndicate with him, Brother Hao set his sights on He Shen’s son: kidnap him and demand an enormous ransom. Once they had the money, the four lost themselves completely in the extravagance and splendor of the past, squandering it in a life of drunken excess. But He Shen’s powerful retaliation, the authorities’ inescapable net, and the rifts growing among the four as their greed swelled were pushing their “transmigrate-and-get-rich” spree toward an uncontrollable abyss. When triad violence collides with imperial power and wealth, will they keep running amok, or will they meet the inevitable fate of being caught by the law?
