Crawling Behind the Door

As a haunted-house sleep tester, I’ve seen all kinds of creepy homes.

But it wasn’t until I entered this century-old mansion that I realized my past experiences had been child’s play.

On the first night, I found the homeowner’s diary in the attic:

“Never stop in front of the basement door, no matter what you hear.”

Now, heavy scratching comes from behind the basement door, along with the sound of my daughter giggling.

But my daughter died in that basement three years ago.
