At an audition for a crime drama, he played a high-IQ criminal and brainwashed the interviewers with a few words, nearly making the assistant director confess on the spot. One top-tier star sobbed, “I just wanted to show up for a bit and get paid. He was holding a scalpel and really looked like he wanted to dissect me!” Su Bai: “Director, I think we should use a real knife for this scene. It’ll look more convincing.” Director: “Cut! Get that knife away from him! Give him a raise! Please, try to rein it in!” Audience: “Someone needs to investigate Su Bai. This really doesn’t look like acting. It looks like a killing technique!”
