Honghuang: The Door God Awakens, Specializing in Putting the Defiant in Their Place

Yu Buyi wakes up to find that he has become a tree in the Primordial World. A peach tree about to become a bull demon's after-dinner dessert. At the critical moment, the essence of an ancient Door God awakens within him, and from then on, the Primordial World takes a sharp turn! While mighty beings summon the Immortal Slaying Sword and the Chaos Bell, he silently raises his life-bound door plank. “Sorry, this way is closed.” One plank strike knocks out the bull demon, two suppress a Golden Immortal, and three send a blocking Sage flying straight back to the Violet Heavens Palace! He thinks he's about to reach the pinnacle of the Primordial World with his ironclad principle of “one plank breaking all techniques.” That is, until Dao Ancestor Hongjun, who should have been meditating high above the clouds and united with the Heavenly Dao, comes looking for him in person. The blue-robed Daoist's gaze falls on the door plank that has beaten everyone in the Primordial World. For the first time, he looks perplexed. “Young friend, this object... looks rather familiar to me.” Yu Buyi's hand trembles, and the plank crashes to the ground. “Wait! Dao Ancestor, don't come any closer! This plank... really isn't for sale!”
