Yu Guang's Cultivation Journal

My name is Yu Guang. I was born and raised in Beishan Village, and I just turned ten. The village square is unusually lively today: the sword sect’s immortal master is coming to test our spiritual roots! My parents are even more nervous than I am. I’m wondering, if I turn out to have an impressive spiritual root, should I choose to fly on a sword, or learn how to turn stone into gold first? “Still, I hear the cultivation world is pretty cutthroat. I hope it’s not harder than farming.”
