The Auspicious Bride's Maid: I Meant to Slack Off, but Became His Most Cherished One

After transmigrating into the body of a young maid in the Marquis’s household, I set three goals for myself: First, use herbal remedies to make myself ugly so I won’t attract trouble. Second, slack off and muddle through my duties. Third, save up enough money to buy my freedom and get out of here! Who knew that a marriage decree meant to bring good luck would send me to serve the sickly young heir, who was on the verge of death? I thought I’d hit rock bottom, but then… I slack off, and he praises me for being well-behaved. I sneak a nap, and he says I’m adorable. I’m plotting how to escape, and he grabs me with tearful eyes. “Weiwei, don’t go.” Then one day, the herbs I’d used to disguise my face suddenly stop working. Seeing the heat flare in his eyes, I finally realize… this guy isn’t sick at all. He’s a scheming wolf in sheep’s clothing! Run? Too late!
