They Made You a Militiaman, So Why Did You Build an American-Armed Regiment?

Awakening in an Eighth Route Army hospital, Lin Rui finds his world turned upside down. Badly wounded and facing an uncertain future, the only light in the darkness is the Logistics System activated in his mind. He had planned to keep his head down and build up his strength, but the horrific slaughter of more than three hundred villagers in Gejia Village ignites his fury. Confronted by the few survivors and their doubts, he pulls out a stack of gleaming silver dollars: “Join me. We’ll have all the weapons and food we need!” A special militia unit is quietly formed in Tawanjia Village. From drill practice to live-fire training, from protecting the villagers to ambushing the Japanese invaders, the peasant-formed unit grows rapidly under his command. This is a story of growth, revenge, and protection. See how the modern young man Lin Rui makes his mark in the flames of war, in his own way!
