My Soul Transmigrated into Yuan Chonghuan, So I Fought Like Hell to Avoid Being Dismembered

I had only just transmigrated into Yuan Chonghuan when Huang Taiji led his troops through the pass, heading straight for Beijing. If I went to the capital to defend the emperor, I’d surely be executed by being torn apart. No one would want to suffer that kind of fate. So I simply headed east to reclaim Liaodong. I’d only meant to force Huang Taiji to withdraw, but after all the killing along the way, not only did Huang Taiji fall to his knees and beg for mercy, even the suspicious Emperor Chongzhen began treating me like a brother, clapping me on the shoulder and asking me to help secure the empire forever!
