The Deserter Heads North

[Older Man] [Push and Pull] [Evenly Matched] [Emotional Games]

Lian Yao is twenty-three and has never been in a relationship.

A physics student, she lives by two principles: physics formulas don't lie, and men who've been in relationships are off-limits.

Then she meets Yu Linshen.

On their first trip together, in a hotel room, she kisses Yu Linshen, then pushes him away.

“I don't want to like you anymore, Yu Linshen.”

During their first intimate encounter, she discovers the secret on Yu Linshen's back.

“Yu Linshen, if you like her so much, why don't you go win her back?”

On a snowy winter night, she leaves without looking back.

Later, the two make up.

Yu Linshen rubs his thumb against her lower lip. “Not many men could stand up to that mouth of yours.”

Lian Yao gently bites him. “You, big brother. Only you. You're the only one who can handle me.”

So Yu Linshen turns around and hands her a uniform.

Later still, Yu Linshen gets jealous and angry. She presses close and coaxes him, but he stubbornly insists, “It won't work. That trick won't work on me.”

“Really? What a shame.”

Lian Yao looks at him with a smile. “Not even the uniform, big brother? I was going to put on the one you gave me last time.”

Let the past stay in the past and leave the rest of your life undisturbed.

If you love someone, love them with all your heart.
