Overturning the Song: Shadows over Chanyuan

Who writes the course of history? The emperors and ministers in the halls of power, or the nameless people in the shadows?

The negotiation and signing of the Chanyuan Treaty form the main plot, while the shadow plot follows Song and Liao as they vie for a piece of top-secret intelligence capable of changing their nations’ fates.

An ordinary person is unwillingly drawn in, like a stone dropped into a still lake, and ultimately sends up towering waves that rewrite history.
