The story begins in the autumn of 1999, when a group of young people met in the Sociology Department of Binhai University. Focusing on university campus life in the 1990s, it tells the story of how a group of college students from rural areas completed their own transformation amidst the intertwining of ideals and reality, love and friendship. A youth epic spanning twenty years, in which a generation of people rush together to the blue sky called growth in the collision of ideals and reality.
