Hong Kong-Style Infernal Affairs: From the Start, I Kill a Prisoner

“I’m the military’s sharpest hidden blade, and the fiercest dragon crossing the river in Kowloon Walled City.” After a bloody battle in the Golden Triangle, top agent Qin Zhe, codenamed “Wudao,” faked his death and slipped into Hong Kong’s underworld. From a pawn in Qing Shan Prison to the king of Kowloon Walled City, he held military orders in his left hand and the rules of the underworld in his right. He crushed the Vietnamese gang, subdued Wo Luen Shing, and swallowed Hung Hing. Everyone thought it was just another reshuffling of the underworld. Only he knew: The Buddha’s black box, the Huo family massacre, and the shadow of the international drug lord known as “Professor” all pointed to the same name: “The Underworld Drug Lord.” As feuds involving the Walled City’s elders, military high command, and century-old gangs came to light, he tore off his disguise and pointed his blade at the dark empire that cast its shadow over half the planet: “You sell heroin. I sell coffins. Let’s see whose business lasts longer.” [Gangsters + Undercover Agent + High-Octane Story + Dark Humor + No System, High Stakes from the Start!]
