Stockpiling Supplies in the Apocalypse: Building the Ultimate Safehouse

Natural disasters strike without warning, and global order collapses. Su Jin, a female funeral director shunned by her relatives and avoided by everyone else, draws on the extraordinary composure her profession has given her, her knowledge of anatomy, and her stockpile of chemicals to build the strongest refuge in a wasteland where everyone has lost hope. Told from the heroine’s unique perspective, the early story delivers a satisfying thrill as she uses her professional expertise to stockpile supplies with precision and renovate her home, coldly turning away the terrible relatives and neighbors who once bullied her, creating a stark reversal from the past. In the middle, she rescues the badly wounded hero, an elite soldier. After starting out suspicious of each other, they join forces and form a survival team, establishing a new order in the wasteland. They outwit gangs and schemers who have lost all humanity, while farming, building infrastructure, and growing their power, experiencing survival and reconstruction in an apocalyptic tale with the feel of a period drama. Later, as they face harsher environmental changes and threats from powerful enemies, the protagonists lead the people on a “great migration.” In the end, they lay the foundations of a stable new world, completing a transformation from individual survival to the preservation of civilization’s last spark. There are no supernatural abilities or System; the story focuses on the heroine’s intelligence, professional skills, and decisive ruthlessness, with a steady stream of satisfying moments and a brisk pace.
