Book Description
Hundreds of years after returning from the pilgrimage, a crisis of turbid energy suddenly strikes the Three Realms. The Lord of the Turbid Abyss, from the Abyss of Darkness, sends demon generals to corrupt the Twenty-Eight Lunar Mansions, seeking to overturn the order of the Three Realms.
The Great Sage Equal to Heaven, Sun Wukong, returns to action and joins forces with the lunar mansion gods, including Kangjinlong, the Azure Dragon of the East. Together, they slay demons and exterminate evil: they break through the ice demons' lair in the Kunlun ice cavern, destroy the Bone-Crowned Demon General at Black Wind Mountain, sweep away evil with the Golden-Banded Staff, and expose conspiracies with their fiery golden eyes.
They destroy the formation that gathers turbid energy and investigate the truth behind the Abyss of Darkness. With the power of the lunar mansions supporting them, they gradually uncover the Turbid Abyss Lord's ultimate plan to “flood the Three Realms with turbid energy.” This is a desperate battle to protect the vitality of the mortal world, as well as a meeting of Wukong's defiant nature and the lunar mansions' mission. In the end, it will become an epic tale of bringing the catastrophe to an end.
