Wu Zetian: I Train My Own Imperial Guards

The history books never recorded that Empress Wu’s rise to the throne depended on more than just the imperial court.

When every official in the court could turn traitor, the only ones she could trust were the “blades” she had raised herself.

With the authority of an emperor, she took on the role of instructor. She founded the Shadow Pavilion and established the Mystic Yin Guards, forging a group of convict maids and orphan girls into knives aimed at the hearts of her political enemies.

They were her shadows, her weapons, and the blood-soaked steps on her climb to the throne.

Want to know how a great empress used a “raising and training” approach to her secret guards to overturn the world?
