The Brooding Marquis Wants to Force His Love on Me? The Princess Slaughters Her Way to the Throne

I am the legitimate daughter of the Great Yin imperial family, married by imperial decree to Xie Jingshen, a minister whose family is bound to mine by a blood feud. On our wedding night, he left me alone and let his benefactor's daughter humiliate and insult me. I pretended to have lost my memory and played the woman he loved most, but he imprisoned me behind high walls and personally taught me strategy, honing me into a blade aimed at imperial power. In secret, I contacted my childhood sweetheart, a palace guard, and used him to wipe out my enemies. But on the eve of my coronation as empress, Xie Jingshen caught us meeting in private. "Choose him or choose me?" He gripped my throat and made my lover listen to what happened outside the hall all night. I escaped to the grasslands and bore my beloved a daughter, but he pursued us with his iron cavalry and tore my clothes to shreds. "Bear me a child, and I'll leave him with his whole body intact." Later, I ascended the throne over his corpse, placed the bloodstained crown on my daughter's head, then turned and threw myself into my beloved's arms. Xie Jingshen, I took your empire, and your life too.
