In the Name of the People: Starting with a Hardline Divorce, I Take Charge of Handong!

[This isn't the same storyline as the original, okay? If that's not your thing, please don't click in. Thank you ^ω^]

This time around, Division Chief Qi is on a rampage!

The good news: Qi Tongwei has been reborn and even has a System.

The bad news: He's so “righteous” that protagonist Hou Liangping has nowhere left to go.

He's supposed to be the villain, so why is he doing all the protagonist's work?

At the United Airlines counter

Qi Tongwei: “Ding Yizhen, fancy seeing you here.” (smiles)

Ding Yizhen: “Division Chief Qi? Are you here to let me go?”

The result: He's slapped into a pair of handcuffs, with the arrest livestreamed to the whole internet.

Hou Liangping: “??? I haven't even issued the wanted notice yet!”

At the demolition site of Dafeng Factory

Fake police officer: “Tear it down!”

Qi Tongwei: “Take them down!”

The fake police are arrested on the spot, and the Dafeng Factory workers cheer, “Qi, the incorruptible judge!”

Li Dakang: “Tongwei, you're even more domineering than I am!”

At Shanshui Manor

Zhao Ruilong: “Old Qi, do me a favor. This dinner…”

Qi Tongwei: “No need for dinner. Here's your arrest warrant.”

The result: Zhao Ruilong is stunned, Gao Yuliang is dumbfounded, and Sha Ruijin is delighted.

Everyone: “This isn't how the story is supposed to go! How did Qi Tongwei become an anti-corruption crusader?!”
