A Contract Marriage with the CEO’s Sweet Little Wife

Su Wan, a 24-year-old upbeat dessert shop owner, signs a contract marriage with Lu Jinyan, a 28-year-old aloof, powerful CEO and heir to a conglomerate, to pay off her father’s debts. The deal: one year of marriage for a million yuan. Lu Jinyan needs a “fake wife” to stabilize things because his gravely ill grandfather is pressuring him to marry. After they wed, Lu Jinyan’s jealous ex-girlfriend repeatedly tries to ruin their relationship, while business rivals target Su Wan’s dessert shop. Torn between love and the pressure of her debts, Su Wan struggles to find her footing, while Lu Jinyan is caught between family duty and love. Su Wan misunderstands and thinks Lu Jinyan and his ex have rekindled their old romance, as Lu Jinyan tries to handle both family pressure and Su Wan’s debts. During their year-long contract, they face one crisis after another, and their feelings grow ever stronger through the twists and turns.
