On the Tianyuan Continent, spiritual bones are ranked in nine grades. Those with mortal bones are no better than ants.
At fifteen, Shen Zang was judged to have “the lowest grade” and had his mother's bone pendant stolen before being sent to Blood Mine Number Ten. On the brink of death, he used his “blank bone” to imprint everything: demon bones, sword bones, and star bones could all be put to use, at the cost of burning his lifespan to gain their power.
To reclaim his mother's bone pendant and fight for a chance at survival for a hundred thousand mortal slaves, the boy stormed sacred lands, crossed demon kingdoms, and shattered immortal dynasties. Step by step, he uncovered the truth: the “spiritual bone ranks” were nothing more than shackles imposed by ancient immortals to keep all living beings in captivity.
And he was the final bone key to breaking those shackles.
Even mortal bones can seal the heavens.
Using bone as his brush and blood as his ink, Shen Zang wrote new laws across the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands: all beings may ascend to immortality, and none shall be treated as lesser.
And so the Immortal Platform of Ten Thousand Bones collapsed, the immortals fell to the mortal world, and he stood with his back to the abyss, holding only a broken sword's spine, pointing toward a new dawn.
