Spring Ripples in the Inkstone Pool

I transmigrated into an ancient romance novel as the arrogant, malicious villainess.

The original owner had fallen for the crown prince and staged a fall into the water to force him to save her.

But the crown prince never came. Instead, the one who showed up was his sharp-tongued, scheming nemesis, Prince Jing.

Soaked to the skin, I climbed onto the bank and saw Prince Jing crouching behind the bushes, writing: “The crown prince didn't show. The plan failed.”

“?” So this guy was the one who arranged for the original owner to fall into the water?

The next day, I threw Prince Jing's notebook down in front of the crown prince in full view of everyone.

But Prince Jing only chuckled. “Miss Ji, you weren't this heartless last night, when you had your arms around my neck and said you wouldn't marry anyone but me.”
