Legendary Pokemon All Around Me from the Start, and You Want Me to Catch a Caterpie?

Lin Yu was born atop the World Tree. Arceus is his guardian, Dialga and Palkia were his childhood playmates, and Giratina is the dragon that guards his home.

Born with the psychic ability to communicate with all things, he finds that every Pokemon becomes as docile as a kitten around him.

Just as he was wondering whether to ride Rayquaza or Kyogre for a spin today, a strange System awakened: [Congratulations, Host! You have awakened the Strongest Trainer System!]

Lin Yu: ?

[Beginner mission issued: Find and catch your first Pokemon in the forest: a Caterpie!]

[Mission rewards: 5 Poke Balls and 1 Potion.]

Lin Yu looked at the Mew cuddling in his lap, then at Groudon and Kyogre play-fighting in the distance, and fell into thought. “System, are you sure you have the right person? I don't think I have any Pokemon weaker than Caterpie here.”

[Scan complete. Host does not yet own any officially registered Pokemon. The mission is correct! Please complete it as soon as possible, or face a terrifying punishment!]

“Oh? How terrifying?”

[Punishment: All of the Host's Wild Pokémon will be confiscated, and the Host will be forcibly sent back to Pallet Town!]

Lin Yu: “...” System, you're seriously unwell.
