The Company's Path to Breaking Boundaries

Chen Jie clutched his father’s transformation plan, the edges of the pages softened from being rubbed over and over. The Jiangsu Precision cooperation agreement and the new-energy automaker’s purchase letter of intent tucked inside had now become stepping stones toward securing digital yuan financing. Lin Lan had said yesterday, “Data is the best proof of credit,” and it seemed she was right.

“The production-line renovation acceptance report and the workers’ training records are all here.” Sister Liu hurried over carrying a stack of documents, sweat clinging to her forehead. “I’ve also exported the transactions from the financial system. Every expense is labeled, and it all matches the production schedule.”

Lin Lan took the documents, pulled a tablet out of her bag, and opened the free-trade zone’s digital yuan financing platform. “Let’s submit the application online. I’ll show you how.”

The interface was simple, with three clearly listed sections: “Company Information,” “Production Data,” and “Order Documentation.” Following Lin Lan’s instructions, Chen Jie paused with his fingertip on the screen as he uploaded the trial-production report. The figures “Average daily output: 50 units” and “Defect rate: 0.8%” stood in stark contrast to the “Average daily output: 20 units” and “Defect rate: 8%” in his father’s old plan. He suddenly felt that if his father could see this, he would finally breathe a sigh of relief.
