[The title says it all: multiple heroines, sweet romance early on, a triple-immortal act later, and heroines with distinct personalities who aren’t just props]
Gao Yi transmigrated into the primordial world in his physical body. He had no spiritual root, but he was determined to cultivate immortality, and somehow he actually succeeded.
Now that he had become an immortal, Gao Yi figured it was time to give the fairies a talking-to!
So, at a family meeting, Gao Yi took the fairies in front of him to task one by one:
“One alchemist fairy claimed she needed a furnace cauldron, but tricked me into going to her room to be her dual-cultivation furnace cauldron!”
Liu Qianfan, the alchemical saintess and direct disciple of the Grand Supreme Elder Lord, guiltily looked away.
“And another fairy invited me to ride through the clouds, when she was a cloud herself!”
Caiyun Fairy, Zhao Gongming’s youngest sister and the foremost disciple of the Jie Sect, silently lowered her head.
“And then there’s a fairy who said the burden on her chest was too much, and asked me to hold it up with both hands!”
Zhu Yuan, a disciple of Nuwa who couldn’t see her own feet when she looked down, instead raised her head proudly.
A certain fairy from the Moon Palace was relieved not to have been singled out and chimed in smugly:
“Exactly! My younger sisters should learn from me. Everyone knows I’m famous throughout the Three Realms for being aloof and passionless.”
Gao Yi then added one final criticism:
“The worst of all is a certain fairy who acts aloof on the outside, but has spent tens of thousands of years in prison, so lonely that every time she drains someone to the bone…”
The author of this book has a strong logic. There are a lot of foreshadowings from the early reading. The world view should be quite complete. I look forward to the follow-up.
