Hao Ren is a textbook urban loser, one of those “three-nothings” with no money, no status, and no prospects. He rents a room with roommates, relies on takeout for meals, and dreams only in his sleep.
One morning, sporting a mess of bedhead like a chicken coop and wearing flip-flops, he heads to a roadside stall to buy soy milk. There he happens upon an elderly scavenger wrestling with a tricycle in the middle of the road. Its pile of scrap is stacked more precariously than the Himalayas, and it looks ready to tip over any second.
His attempt to do a good deed earns him a “Good Deeds Points Salvage System”! Every time Hao Ren does something kind, it goes “ding” and upgrades: its suction power increases, and its form changes too.
From then on, Hao Ren embarks on an absurd life of “doing good deeds and salvaging treasures” at the same time...
