Dream of the Red Chamber Meets Empresses in the Palace: From the Start, I Pick Jia Yuanchun

Transmigrate + Yongzheng + Dream of the Red Chamber + Empresses in the Palace + black lotus + battlefield of romantic rivals + feel-good + palace and household intrigue + political scheming

I woke up one day and found I had become the Yongzheng Emperor?!

Faced with a mountain of memorials, I decided to… select a consort and calm down first.

But why is my harem a chaotic mash-up of Empresses in the Palace and Dream of the Red Chamber?!

Consort Hua’s jealousy, Zhen Huan’s cleverness, and my seemingly meek “Virtuous Consort” Yuanchun…

Consort Hua gives me a hard time? I promote Xue Baochai instead, turning her own tactics against her and making her suffer the consequences.

Zhen Huan hangs back to watch? Then I’ll make her and Baochai “admire one another,” and sit back to watch the two beauties compete.

The Jia family is in decline?

Making Yuanchun a consort is only the beginning. I want all four great families to become pieces on my chessboard!

Here, Lin Daiyu is no longer a tearful beauty, but my “sharp-tongued strategist.”

Wang Xifeng moves through the palace, becoming my “chief intelligence officer.”

And Baochai, who seems so dignified, is actually a hidden master of palace intrigue!

Watch as a modern soul navigates a treacherous, ever-changing harem,

balancing the court and the inner palace while mastering hearts and political schemes.

From walking on thin ice to taking charge of the whole game;

from treading carefully to ruling the world!

I’ll make the first move in this astonishing chess game between two worlds!
