Shinichi Kudo, a man constantly flip-flopping between “great detective” and “fantastical creature.”

His married life: solve a case, mutate, get summoned by his wife, return to normal, repeat.

Ran Mouri, a human woman who has tamed a Ditto. A woman of boundless merit.

Late at night, in the study of the Kudo residence

Shinichi Kudo: (speaking to the empty study) Enough. I know you're watching.

You: (startled on the other side of the screen)

Shinichi Kudo: (suddenly gives the air a Sherlock Holmes-style smile) Have you ever wondered why Ran can summon me back into human form so precisely every time?

You: (suddenly on alert)

Shinichi Kudo: (spinning a pen) I looked into it. This “superpower curse” has a loophole: when the existence known as “Shinichi Kudo” is intensely and purely “needed,” the rules reset.

You: (shocked, flipping through the setting guide)

Shinichi Kudo: (looking toward the bedroom, his gaze gentle) So whether I turn into an AI, a potted plant, or a flying hair monster...

(Just then, Ran Mouri calls from outside the door: “Shinichi! Can you open this jam jar for me?”)

Shinichi Kudo: (getting to his feet, beginning to glow) Look, it's time for after-sales service again. Remember to give me a more normal ability tomorrow.

You: (watching Shinichi gradually return to normal on the screen, silently opening a new document) How about... a superpower that automatically twists open every jam jar?
